Location: Vale Resort
Working alongside the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our Food & Beverage departments, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while leading and developing our teams. This is a hands-on management role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys leading from the front.
You will support the delivery of operational excellence, maintain high service standards, oversee staffing and rota planning, assist with payroll and recruitment, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. In the absence of the Food & Beverage Manager, you will confidently lead the department, ensuring smooth operations and continued delivery of our high standards.
Duties Will Include
- Supporting the daily management of all Food & Beverage operations.
- Leading, motivating and developing supervisors and team members.
- Managing staff rotas to ensure effective staffing levels and labour cost control.
- Championing outstanding customer service and driving guest satisfaction.
- Coaching and training colleagues to support their development.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
- Assisting with payroll administration and absence management.
- Monitoring service standards, operational performance and departmental compliance.
- Resolving guest enquiries and operational challenges professionally.
- Acting as Duty Manager and deputising for the Food & Beverage Manager when required.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Previous supervisory or management experience within Food & Beverage or Hospitality.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience with rota planning and labour management.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and make confident decisions.
- A proactive, positive attitude with a hands-on approach.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety legislation.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.
