The Role

We're looking for a passionate, organised and driven Assistant Venue Manager to become the Venue Manager's right hand and help deliver exceptional weddings and events.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in making sure nothing gets missed. You'll work across every department, keeping teams aligned, supporting managers and ensuring plans become reality.

More than anything, we're looking for attitude over experience. If you have the passion, dedication and willingness to learn, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Support the Venue Manager in the day-to-day running of the venue.
  • Coordinate all departments to ensure weddings, events and busy periods run seamlessly.
  • Work closely with department heads, the Operations Manager and Logistics Manager to keep everyone aligned and accountable.
  • Step into the Venue Manager's role whenever required.

Team Support & Accountability

  • Coach, support and challenge department managers to achieve their objectives.
  • Ensure actions from meetings, audits and reviews are completed on time.
  • Help identify and remove operational barriers before they become problems.
  • Support recruitment, development, probation reviews and performance management where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
