MUFG is seeking a Business Manager at Assistant Vice President level to join their Technology Innovation Management team in London. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role within the Office of the COO, supporting the efficient operations of the Technology department across EMEA and internationally for the Securities business. You will be instrumental in bridging IT and business functions, driving communication strategies, and promoting operational efficiencies that align with MUFG’s values-led culture.
What You'll Do
As Business Manager Assistant Vice President at MUFG, you will immerse yourself in a multifaceted role that blends technology operations with strategic communications. Your daily activities will involve developing engaging presentations for senior management, designing innovative intranet solutions using AI, and crafting communication strategies that bridge gaps between IT and business functions.
- Develop comprehensive presentations for townhalls and executive committees on behalf of the management team, ensuring complex topics are communicated in an accessible manner.
- Design and implement effective communication strategies for Technology in EMEA, collaborating closely with Corporate Communications to build strong interdepartmental relationships.
- Build a new intranet using AI technologies, creating a communications platform that connects Technology with the wider business and facilitates real-time alerts and colleague networking.
- Establish strategic frameworks to deliver streamlined board and executive committee communications, adhering to corporate governance and legal guidelines through well-structured documentation.
- Act as the face of Technology within MUFG, ensuring all interactions are professional, considerate, and reflect positively on the department’s reputation.
- Promote MUFG’s values-led culture by fostering inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration across teams and departments.
- Lead by example in relationship building throughout the bank, establishing a robust peer network that strengthens cooperation between business units.
- Support the COO on special projects such as offsites, desk moves, CSR initiatives, contributing to organisational objectives beyond day-to-day responsibilities.
- Translate technical language into business-appropriate messages that resonate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Provide guidance on best practices for communication tools and platforms, helping colleagues present data effectively through storytelling.
