What you'll do:
As Credit Risk Reporting Quality Assurance AVP at MUFG in London, you will be entrusted with overseeing the integrity of credit risk reporting processes across EMEA. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve performing rigorous quality assurance checks on reports generated by offshore teams, providing insightful analysis on key metrics, and ensuring all outputs meet the highest standards before they reach stakeholders. You will coordinate stakeholder reviews, facilitate approvals, and support the distribution of complex management information packs.
- Perform quality assurance controls and processes over credit risk and enterprise reports produced by the offshore production team, ensuring accuracy and reliability before distribution.
- Provide comprehensive overview, commentary, and analysis on metrics and reports to support business objectives and enhance decision-making.
- Conduct cross-report reconciliations to ensure consistency across all credit risk reporting outputs.
- Coordinate stakeholder sign-off and review processes prior to final report distribution, maintaining clear communication channels between relevant parties.
- Approve metrics before distribution to external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Support offshore teams in distributing complex management information packs while implementing reporting changes as needed.
- Develop enhanced management information (MI), including key performance indicators (KPIs) and data quality measures (DQ), to evidence quality assurance reviews.
- Analyse offshore KPI and service level agreement (SLA) reporting, tracking breaches and managing issue resolution efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date quality assurance documentation that is fit for purpose and reflects current processes.
- Manage onshore stakeholder relationships by being the primary contact for reporting queries, coordinating regular meetings to resolve issues effectively.

What you bring:
In the Credit Risk Reporting Quality Assurance Assistant Vice President role at MUFG London, your proven experience in credit risk reporting will be instrumental in maintaining high standards across all deliverables. You bring strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and familiarity with financial regulations governing risk reporting. Your ability to leverage business intelligence tools allows you to provide deeper insights into portfolio risks while supporting ongoing system enhancements.
- Demonstrated experience in credit risk reporting within financial services or banking environments is essential for success in this role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software such as Excel is required to manage complex data sets efficiently.
- Familiarity with financial and risk reporting requirements ensures you can navigate regulatory frameworks confidently.
- Experience with business intelligence software like Power BI, Tableau, Cognos or Business Objects is beneficial for advanced analytics.
- Understanding of database technologies including SQL, Python or VBA would be advantageous for process automation.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACA or CIMA are considered beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to utilise AI tools such as M365 Copilot enhances productivity in report generation and analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills enable effective stakeholder management across diverse teams both onshore and offshore.
- Proven track record in issue management and resolution demonstrates your dependability in high-responsibility roles.
- Commitment to maintaining entity neutrality when supporting both MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc ensures legal integrity.
