About this role:
Wells Fargo Global Trade Receivables is seeking a Senior Lead Credit Product Specialist to partner with Commercial Banking Relationship Managers to deliver effective Open Account financing products to banking clients and prospects. Qualified candidates will have significant experience and proven success in originating, structuring and delivering complex financial solutions in a matrixed operating environment to Mid Corporate CB sized clients and prospects.
In this role, you will:
- Partner with Commercial Banking to lead the sourcing of new open account product (Supplier Finance, Key Account Purchase and A/R Securitization) clients or growing of existing relationships in close coordination with coverage teams.
- Understand clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions within the context of individual deals and client relationships.
- Partner with client teams to independently work on client transactions and advise on peer transactions, including highly complex, larger, and multi-product financing opportunities, including analysing potential opportunities, structuring, proposing, and selling tailored financial solutions to clients, strategically leading internal coordination, and submitting transactions to management or independent risk for approval.
- Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert product advisor to Supply Chain and Channel Solutions leadership as well as business partners from CB.
- Partner with product functional partners to provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on evolving market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively, including large-scale, cross-functional, or companywide strategies.
- Serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in secured or specialised lending sales, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education.

Desired Qualifications:
- History of success in partnering with CB relationship managers in driving thoughtful, well structured product solutions for bank clients in partnership with Relationship Managers.
- Expertise originating, structuring and closing large, structured finance transactions (ABL, Leasing and Lending, Factoring, Etc…).
- Knowledge of Supplier Finance, Key Accounts Purchase and/or AR Securitization products and markets.
- Proven track record of solutions/product representation to C Suite Finance executives (CFO, Treasurer).
- Ability to successfully collaborate with functional subject matter experts to lead complex deal teams, transactions and strategic growth initiatives.
Job Expectations:
- Work closely with CB relationship managers to educate the enterprise and clients on open account products.
- Partner with internal banking customers, deal teams and subject matter experts to deliver optimal financial structures and solutions to key bank clients.
- Become a trusted advisor to CB relationship managers on the unique aspects of open account finance and help drive deeper product penetration across the bank.
- Significantly grow open account product penetration with CB clients and prospects within the enterprise risk and return framework.
- Bring a flexible approach to independent and cross functional team efforts; deliver best in class solutions and service to internal and external clients.
- Drive opportunities from ideation through closing in a matrixed environment.
