Your Role

Do you have a vision for educational excellence? At Co-op Academy Oldershaw, we invite you to apply for the position of Assistant Vice Principal for Teaching & Learning to drive and sustain a whole school culture of high quality teaching and professional practice.

Potential Candidates Will:

  • Embed comprehensive Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and quality assurance programmes which challenge and support colleagues to develop their best classroom practice, alongside robust assessment and reporting strategies to secure excellent academic outcomes for all pupils.
  • Promote a strong learning culture in the academy, which translates to excellent academic outcomes for all pupils.
  • Lead on assessment and reporting, ensuring that stakeholders are fully aware and equipped to drive improvement.
  • Develop Early Career Teachers, using the Trust’s framework to secure excellence in teaching.
  • Working alongside colleagues in the Trust, they will share and develop expertise in all aspects of school improvement.

  • Degree or equivalent qualification: essential
  • Qualified Teacher Status: essential
  • Evidence of recent training and experience in whole school leadership and management: desirable
