Start date: October 2026 Duration: 8 weeks Hours: Flexible - 1 call per week (up to an hour), plus tasks to complete in your own time, working to your availability.
About the role
Breaking Jar Ltd is an independent UK production company helping people achieve real-life change through fictional stories. We produce original films and media, as well as providing training and resources for aspiring filmmakers, building a strong community through the power of meaningful stories changing lives.
You will be working closely with the Director, Hunter Boydell, to edit short videos related to filmmaking, as we seek to create wider exposure, entry-level access, and more opportunities for aspiring filmmakers in the UK.

All video material will be provided by Breaking Jar, from our film shoots, workshops, and events. You will be analysing the material, identifying trends for effective content, and editing into short videos (both landscape and vertical), mostly for YouTube.
Fully remote role - UK, preferably based in London. You will need to have your own computer, smartphone, and internet access that you are comfortable using.
NB. This is an unpaid internship, akin to a volunteer role or work experience placement.
