We're now looking for an Assistant Wholesale Merchandiser to support the Wholesale Account Manager and Import Merchandising team with the day-to-day management of wholesale accounts and orders.

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Support the Wholesale Account Manager and Import Merchandising team with the day-to-day management of wholesale accounts and orders.
  • Monitor and maintain critical paths, proactively identifying delivery risks and working with relevant teams to find solutions.
  • Maintain and manage merchandising systems, ensuring purchase orders, product information, stock records and reporting are accurate and up to date.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end purchase order process, monitoring supplier critical paths, deliveries and intake to ensure customer orders are fulfilled and stock arrives on time.
  • Maintain merchandising trackers, reports and administration, ensuring a high level of accuracy and data integrity.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with Buying, Logistics, QC and suppliers, working together to resolve issues and keep orders on track.
  • Support with customer queries, order amendments, sample management and general merchandising administration.
  • Take a proactive, hands-on approach to continuous improvement, supporting the development and growth of the merchandising function.

Skills required

  • Previous experience in Wholesale, Assistant Merchandiser / Import Merchandiser or a similar role.
  • Commercially minded with strong decision-making, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, with excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys building strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Proactive and solution-focused, with a hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership.
