Summary
As Associate Marketing Manager, Europe at The Hershey Company, you will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of our European portfolio, including iconic brands such as Reese’s and Hershey’s, during an exciting period of expansion for the business.
Working under the leadership of the Marketing Manager, Europe, this role will combine brand ownership, creative & commercial thinking, analytical rigor, and strong execution. The Associate Marketing Manager will help shape and deliver brand plans across the UK and Europe, support the expansion of our pan-European portfolio, and lead key transversal marketing projects that build marketing excellence across the business.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the launch and development of a future growth platform within the Hershey Europe portfolio, while helping scale our current brands within the UK & Europe.

Brand Growth Platform: Go-to-Market Leadership (UK & Europe)
- Lead the execution of go-to-market plans for one or more brands within the European portfolio, translating consumer and business insights into effective market activation.
- Support the development and execution of annual brand plans, including media, consumer activation, and commercial & shopper integration.
- Partner with media, creative, shopper, PR, and activation agencies to deliver integrated consumer plans.
- Drive execution of integrated brand-building initiatives, ensuring activities align with brand strategy, consumer needs, and business objectives, whilst being delivered on time and on budget.
- Monitor campaign performance and key KPIs, providing recommendations to optimize messaging, activation effectiveness, and future marketing investment.
- Ensure marketing materials, messaging, and activation plans align with brand guidelines, compliance requirements, and consumer needs.
Pan-European Leadership, including Performance, Portfolio & Pricing Input (Europe)
- Conduct brand performance analysis to inform the performance & market competitiveness of Core products and Innovations post-launch across Europe.
- Partner with Insights, Category, Sales, and Finance to ensure Portfolio & Pricing strategies are both brand led and commercially grounded.
- Analyze category insights to support brand decision-making and identify opportunities for growth.

Integrated Marketing Execution & Transversal Projects
- Lead or support transversal marketing projects that strengthen the quality, consistency, and impact of Hershey Europe marketing.
- Support the development of select brand & shopper assets, creative toolkits, and ensuring consistency across local market adaptations.
- Lead multi-brand initiatives connected to brand priorities including sampling, and act as the marketing point person for PR.
- Support internal and external Brand Days, helping to build inspiring brand plans, strong content, and clear cross-functional alignment.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Experience leading FMCG brands across Brand Marketing & Media; Challenger brand experience is advantageous
- Leadership: Problem-solving mentality, intellectually curious, strong critical thinking skills
- Marketing Project Management: Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Analytical skills: Proficient in data analysis tools such as Circana, Nielsen, customer data & consumer insights
- Collaboration: Strong collaboration, verbal and written communication skills
- A growth mindset and creative thinking are advantageous.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business (marketing or related specialisation, from a top university preferred)
Experience
- At least 3-5 years of marketing experience in FMCG (top-tier Food & Drink experience preferred)
