Job Overview
As Associate Marketing Manager World Travel Retail working at the Hershey company, you will play a key role in the comprehensive management of the portfolio to achieve growth targets, responsible for executing plans in a timely and efficient way. In this role, you will benefit from gaining global experience, leading innovation and portfolio management projects for Hershey’s iconic global brands including HERSHEY’s, KISSES, REESE’s and more. Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic marketing plans, monitoring brand performance, profitability and budget, monthly business reviews, and leading/participating in cross-functional teams to develop and commercialize successful marketing programs.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract - maternity cover.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
Innovation Commercialization & Portfolio Management
- Plan and execute innovation, renovation, and cost improvement projects in partnership with cross-functional teams to enable delivery of ambitious growth plans.
- Support manager in portfolio management initiatives (e.g., portfolio rationalization recommendations).

Business Analysis & Budget Management
- Monitor brand and activation performance, profitability, and budget.
- Work closely with insights lead to analyze and understand insights from Hershey in-market activities as well as competitive activities in order to implement course correction and recommend category and channel/customer-specific initiatives.
- Analyze business profitability and lead profitability improvement projects.
- Plan and manage DME budget.
Brand Marketing
- Plan and execute trade press and other customer or consumer facing activities in partnership with internal stakeholders.
Personal Development
- Responsible and committed to their training and development plan.
- Develop strong cross-functional relationships internally and with agency partners.

Qualifications And Experience
- Project management experience.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Problem-solving mentality, intellectually curious, strong critical thinking skills.
- Entrepreneurial skills and style.
- Strong verbal and written communicator to a wide breadth of audiences including Senior Management.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives of varying complexities simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Analytical skills and business acumen.
- Creative thinker.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business (marketing or related major preferred).
- At least 4-5 years of marketing experience in FMCG or similarly disciplined industry.

- 4/5 years
