Associate (NQ–3 PQE) – Private Property

Location: Cheltenham
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Working pattern: Hybrid

We are delighted to be working with a highly regarded, market-leading law firm that are looking to appoint an Associate (NQ–3 PQE) to join their Private Property team in Cheltenham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a generalist property solicitor looking to develop their career within a sophisticated private client environment, working alongside experienced lawyers and advising a high-quality client base.

The firm has an established reputation for advising HNW and UHNW individuals and families, trustees, charities, private banks and investment companies on a wide range of property transactions, investments and related matters.

The Role

You will join a friendly and collegiate Private Property team, working on a varied caseload and providing advice to clients on a range of property matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice to clients.
  • Managing a varied caseload with appropriate supervision and support.
  • Drafting legal documentation accurately and effectively.
  • Conducting legal research and applying findings in a commercially relevant way.
  • Working closely with Partners and colleagues on client matters.
  • Supporting business development and client relationship initiatives.
  • Contributing to the team's knowledge-sharing and development.
  • Maintaining high standards of client service and regulatory compliance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
