We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Account Management to join our LINE of BUSINESS team Global Clearing. This role is located in London.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Serves as the key daily contact person for assigned client portfolio – represents the firm directly and is a main contributor to client satisfaction and perception of BNY. Visits clients in person as required.
- Continually evaluates client needs across a broad spectrum of topics and proactively drives client engagement – receives client feedback and is therefore a key escalation point.
- Lead person for the instruction and management of client operational and administrative setup, particularly during client onboarding.
- Tracks and reports on client needs and requests for assigned client portfolio. Contributes to the development of team/unit metrics, dashboards and roadmaps.
- Contributes knowledge (both internal technical knowledge, and client knowledge) to internal initiatives to improve systems, products, and processes.
- Collaborate with Service Director Team, Relationship Manager and Client Service colleagues to share best practice, seek and provide support, and identify where clients from respective portfolios can/are working together to ensure optimal service.
- Supports and informs the client on the availability and use of the BNY systems and products as appropriate.
- Engage with other team members across the division in providing support to clients on addressing and resolving complex operational and technical issues and ensuring requests are executed.
- Applies advanced problem- solving skills, judgement, and extensive experience to analyze information.
- Use communication skills to deliver high-quality service to a specialized client base.
- Provides key individuals at assigned clients information related to BNY Mellon products and services

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of experience (Broker Dealer business) is required.
- Experience developing new relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Self-motivated with proven commitment to client focus and lean thought process
- Strong communication skills written, verbal and effective listening skills
- Ability to be cross-fungible and multitask under pressure
- Able to adapt to changing environment and business/organizational demand
- Ability to rally the broader organization to solve complex problems and meet the expectations of our clients
