Associate Account Manager – Sponsorship Business

The Role: Associate Account Manager, Sponsorship Business

This client-facing, high-energy role sits at the core of our sponsorship business, working closely with the sales team to deliver outstanding experiences for partners across global events, VIP dinners, 1-2-1 meetings, and digital sponsorship campaigns.

Your mission: Bridge the gap between what we sell and what we deliver. Own sponsor relationships, ensure seamless execution, and demonstrate tangible value from investments—all while embodying energy, presence, and proactive leadership.

You’ll be on-site at events, building face-to-face connections, and making things happen in real time.


Key Responsibilities

Client Success & Delivery

  • Ensure sponsors receive full value from signed agreements across events, dinners, and digital campaigns.
  • Execute flawless delivery and secure client satisfaction.

Event Execution (Global)

  • Manage sponsors on-site at events, handling logistics and troubleshooting in real time.
  • Represent The Alliance with confidence and professionalism.

Sponsor Relationships

  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients from onboarding through delivery and beyond.
  • Align expectations and nurture accounts for growth.

Sales Collaboration

  • Partner with the sponsorship sales team to align on client goals, expectations, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate to refine pitches and unearth potential upsell or expansion avenues.

Performance & Reporting

  • Track results and demonstrate ROI to clients with clear, insightful reporting.
  • Share performance data to guide future sponsorship strategies.

Account Growth

  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities to present back to the sales team.
  • Actively grow client accounts for sustained business growth.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee multiple accounts, timelines, and deliverables with structured organisation.
  • Leverage tools and automation for efficiency without sacrificing quality.

Success Metrics

You’ll excel if you delivering a mix of:

  • High-level execution—exceptional deliverables across events, digital campaigns, and client projects.
  • Client satisfaction—consistent positive feedback and clear ROI visibility.
  • Relationship building—regular quarterly business review (QBR)-style check-ins.
  • Revenue growth—proactively identifying account expansion opportunities.
  • Ekaira onboarding success—rapid alignment with new client goals from day one.
  • Proactive partnership—owning the journey from initial sale through ongoing success.

Requirements

  • Experience: Starters with some background in B2B account management who are passionate about client success and events.
  • Personality: Confident, personably charming, and excited to connect in-person with clients.
  • Drive: High energy, great team player—people remember you after meeting.
  • Organisation: Highly organised, juggling multiple projects seamlessly.
  • Proactiveness: The kind of person who makes things happen without waiting for instructions.
  • Travel mindset: Enjoys off-site travel and global event engagement.

Compensation

£30,000–£35,000 base salary (depending on qualifications/experience).
