ABOUT

TONG Global is a specialist bicultural China marketing agency, with offices in London and Shanghai, helping luxury, real estate, and consumer brands connect with Chinese consumers worldwide. We've had the pleasure of building over 120 brands in China, including the likes of Taylors of Harrogate, iQ Students, Heathrow Airport, Knight Frank, Newcastle University, Cadogan Estates, JW Anderson, and more.

TONG is on the hunt for an outstanding Associate Activation Executive to work with our Activation Team on a part-time / freelance basis.

Day-to-day, you will support the Activation Team across content creation, campaign activation, influencer marketing, and research. Content creation will form an important part of the role, including writing compelling RED and Weibo posts, WeChat articles, and other creative campaign content, alongside supporting wider campaign execution across Chinese digital platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Chinese social media, a passion for content and digital marketing, and strong written communication and research skills.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving company; you will join a tight-knit and rapidly expanding team, supporting campaigns for a wide range of international brands. This role will report directly to the Activation Managers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
