Your Role

The Associate Analyst will primarily be responsible for assisting with the management of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) content in the content management system, Responsive, and acting as an ESG subject matter expert within the broader RFP team. The ESG content will be utilized in RFPs, DDQs and consultant database profiles. They will act as a liaison between RFP, the Sustainable Investing Services team, investment teams and other sustainability/ESG-related stakeholders for updated language and custom responses not available in Responsive. The Associate Analyst must be able to understand sustainability/ESG and how it fits in with Invesco’s investment landscape in order to develop appropriate content and assist the RFP team with client and prospect queries, which is a vital part of our business operations.

What you will be doing:

  • Build, maintain and enhance firm-level ESG content ensuring that it is current, relevant, and easy to navigate in Responsive, encouraging broader self-servicing use from RFP teams.
  • Manage ongoing projects relating to content audits – this may at times include non-ESG content.
  • Communicate, and where necessary, present enhancements to the wider RFP team and provide training where appropriate.
  • Partner with Sustainable Investing Services team and other stakeholders to represent, support and develop RFP content requirements in content management system.
  • Provide support for RFP Writers for difficult or more technical responses to meet our client and commercial objectives.
  • Where necessary, support RFP writers by providing guidance to enable them to update ESG content at the product level.
  • Attends ESG workshops and forums to support Invesco’s global ESG enterprise.

What you will bring:

  • Proven related work experience; internship in investment management industry preferred but not required.
  • Some knowledge of ESG aligned to RFP/DDQ servicing requests would be preferred
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
  • Understanding of different asset classes/strategies and how they function is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree, Economics/Communications/English/Liberal Arts; some exposure to Economics or Finance courses preferred.
  • Writing and editing skills; an excellent communicator.
  • Project management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-oriented atmosphere.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated.
  • Critical thinker and a quick learner; intellectually curious.
  • Able to work well both independently and as a team member.
  • Interest in exploring a career in financial services.
