Hays is working with an established multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy to appoint an Associate or Senior Associate Architect for its London office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious architect looking to step into a senior leadership position, working closely with the Architectural Director and playing a key role in the continued growth of the practice. The role offers a clear pathway towards future team leadership and greater responsibility within the business.
You'll lead projects across a diverse portfolio, taking schemes from inception through to completion while helping to develop client relationships, win new work and support the growth of the London architectural team.
The Role
- Lead architectural projects across a range of sectors including education, residential and social housing.
- Manage project delivery from feasibility through to completion.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Support business development and work-winning activities.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Contribute to resource planning, project performance and team growth.
- Assist with fee proposals, bids and tender submissions.
- Act as project lead and client contact throughout project delivery.

What We're Looking For
- RIBA Part III qualified Architect.
- Approximately 5+ years' post-qualification experience.
- Strong experience delivering education, residential and social housing projects.
- Proficient in Revit and BIM workflows.
- Experience managing projects and clients independently.
- Commercial awareness, including fee proposals and project financials.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes.
