Job Title: Associate Architect

Ref: BM300

Location: Birmingham

Salary: GBP45,000 - GBP60,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning RIBA chartered practice who provide a range of design services to high-profile projects across the UK. They are looking for an experienced Associate Architect to lead and deliver on large-scale projects for their Birmingham studio.

Duties For The Role Of Associate Architect Include

  • Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion
  • Manage and coordinate project teams, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop strong and effective relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Take responsibility for project programmes, budgets, resources, and quality
  • Produce and oversee high-quality architectural information and presentations
  • Coordinate design information and ensure projects are delivered in accordance with relevant standards, regulations, and client requirements
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team, helping to develop their technical and professional skills
  • Contribute to design reviews, project meetings, and presentations

Skills And Experience For The Role Of Associate Architect

  • ARB registered
  • Significant post RIBA Part 3 Qualification experience as an Architect within a UK practice
  • Proven experience delivering projects through multiple RIBA stages
  • Strong technical knowledge and an understanding of UK construction processes and regulations
  • Experience coordinating consultants and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • The confidence to engage directly with clients and other project stakeholders
  • Experience using Revit and/or other BIM software
  • A genuine interest in sustainable design and the evolving role of technology within architecture
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
  • Live within a commutable distance to the Birmingham area
