EnergyPro: Renewable Energy Management Role
EnergyPro is a specialist renewable energy management firm. We analyse and manage over 1.4GW of installed capacity in Ireland and the UK. We manage operational wind, solar, and battery storage projects to ensure that they perform safely and effectively.
Owing to our continued expansion, we are looking to expand our team. This is a hybrid role where you would be primarily based at our office in Exeter, with the option of working partially from home following successful completion of a probationary period.
Why Join EnergyPro?
- Be part of a forward-thinking company at the forefront of the UK and Irish renewables sector.
- Work with a diverse portfolio of wind, solar, and other renewable technologies.
- Influence asset performance and sustainability outcomes at scale.
- Enjoy a collaborative, supportive culture with opportunities for professional growth.
Purpose
- Monitor and coordinate the operation of customers’ solar PV assets — the primary focus of this role — while also supporting the effective, efficient, and safe operation of wind and battery energy storage projects across the wider portfolio, with opportunities to develop wind knowledge and experience over time through training.
- Collect data (as required) and produce subsequent technical reports.
- Contribute towards a safe culture of work and to oversee compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Analyse SCADA and other data to identify opportunities to increase the energy output of solar, wind, and other renewable energy installations.
- To carry out site inspections (primarily solar PV, and wind where applicable).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
