Sports & Entertainment MEP Engineer

Tyréns Hilson Moran is growing its Sports & Entertainment MEP capability. We are looking for a mechanical/electrical engineer who has delivered design on stadia, arenas and venues, and who brings the client and project relationships that come with a strong delivery record. You will join an active portfolio and pipeline, working alongside our existing Associate Director and Sector Lead.

Purpose of the Role

You will lead design delivery across Sport & Entertainment projects in the UK and internationally, from concept through to construction and handover.

The core requirement is a proven track record of successfully delivering design on Sport & Entertainment projects, ideally including arenas. Just as important are the established relationships you have built through that delivery, with clients, architects, project managers and cost consultants who have worked with you and trust your work.

Alongside delivery, you will support the Sector Lead in growing the business. That means drawing on your relationships, contributing technical leadership to bids and proposals, and joining client meetings and pitches where relevant. You will not be expected to lead business development on your own.

Key Responsibilities

Design delivery

  • Lead mechanical and electrical design delivery for Sport & Entertainment projects from concept through to construction and handover.
  • Coordinate with design engineers across disciplines to deliver integrated MEP solutions.
  • Review calculations, specifications and drawings to make sure they meet the client brief and our quality and compliance standards.
  • Identify risks and design challenges early, and develop solutions that keep projects on programme.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
