Associate Banker Program (Future Private Banker) - UK Market
About the Program
The Associate Program is one of Lombard Odier's flagship talent initiatives, designed to support long-term business growth, succession planning and the development of future Private Bankers.
Highly selective and strategic in nature, the program offers a structured pathway towards a Private Banker role. Participants benefit from a unique combination of investment, wealth planning and private banking exposure, preparing them to become trusted advisors to wealthy families, entrepreneurs and private clients.

The successful candidate will initially spend approximately 10-12 months in Geneva, gaining exposure to key Investment teams before relocating permanently to London to continue the program within the UK market.
Your Role
As an Associate, you will follow a structured development journey designed to accelerate your progression towards a Private Banker role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a deep understanding of Lombard Odier's investment and wealth management capabilities;
- Working closely with Investment Specialists, Wealth Planners and Private Bankers;
- Supporting the preparation of investment proposals, portfolio reviews and client presentations;
- Contributing to business development initiatives;
- Building the commercial, advisory and investment expertise required to become a Private Banker;
- Upon arrival in final team, developing relationships with prospective clients and gradually assuming responsibility for client relationships;
Following successful completion of the program and demonstrated readiness, the selected candidate will transition into a Private Banker role within the London office covering the UK market.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree;
- Approximately 2-5 years of experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management or a related client-facing financial environment;
- Solid understanding of financial markets and investment solutions;
- Strong commercial mindset with a genuine interest in relationship management and business development;
- Demonstrated networking capabilities and/or proven ability to develop a professional network;
- Credible ambition to build a long-term career as a Private Banker;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset;
