Associate Building Surveyor
Project-Led Building Surveying | West End, London
£75,000–£85,000 + Benefits
A leading international Property & Construction Consultancy is seeking an Associate Building Surveyor to join its London Building Surveying team.
This is an opportunity to join a close-knit team of eight Building Surveyors, combining the autonomy and collaborative environment of a smaller team with the project exposure, resources and benefits of a major global consultancy.
The role is heavily project-led, with a particular focus on Contract Administration and Project Management, alongside Technical Due Diligence and wider professional Building Surveying instructions.
The Role
Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, central government, defence and education property, you will be responsible for:
- Contract Administration
- Project Management
- Refurbishment and redevelopment projects
- Technical Due Diligence
- Professional Building Surveying instructions
- Managing client relationships and project teams
- Supporting the continued growth of the London Building Surveying team

Projects range from technically complex Georgian refurbishments through to major commercial and public-sector schemes, typically valued between £600,000 and £20m+.
The Successful Associate Building Surveyor
- MRICS qualified (Building Surveying pathway)
- Strong technical Building Surveying fundamentals
- Good Contract Administration and refurbishment experience
- Understanding of Technical Due Diligence
- Strong client-facing and project management skills
- Comfortable taking responsibility for projects and instructions at Associate level
