Associate – Capital Advisory

Aon’s Capital Advisory team in London is hiring a Financial Analyst. This is a London-based role with the flexibility to work in a hybrid manner.

What the day will look like
As an associate in our Capital Advisory team, you’ll play a key role in preparing key deliverables and executing projects for clients. You’ll work closely with colleagues to:
- Engage with clients to assess their capital needs, develop a strategy, and execute on innovative solutions.
- Build and maintain financial models to support client engagements.
- Create high-impact presentation materials and pitch decks.
- Support internal stakeholders with thought leadership and market insights.
- Collaborate across the firm to align capital strategies with broader reinsurance strategy.

Although the opportunity will be there to support across broader capital advisory projects, it is anticipated that this role will have a focus on supporting the legacy team in targeting and executing loss portfolio transfers, adverse development covers, RITCs and other similar structures.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- 1-3 years’ experience in the insurance industry in a corporate finance or analytical role
- Strong proficiency in Excel and ability to produce client-ready PowerPoint slides and presentations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative, “one team” approach
