The Recipe for Success: Role Summary
Since 1925, product has been the life blood of Le Creuset and as the Category Merchandiser for Cast Iron you are responsible for supporting the commercial product introduction, promotional planning and analytical requirements to achieve our growth objectives across the various country clusters and commercial formats. You will contribute to the success through your proven ability to collaborate across functions and geographies, while supporting with all programming recommendations with analytical rigor. This role is highly matrixed with the LCoA Category Marketing Team, local Commercial and Marketing Teams, and visible to senior management inclusive of Managing Directors and Group/Global functions of Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Business Transformation.

Assist in product and promotional programs planning and implementation across all channels in Europe and UK.

Consolidate channel-specific requirements, needs and insights.

Identify scalable marketing and activation opportunities.

Prepare data and materials to support range reviews and product lifecycle discussions.

Ensure that all product and program tracking tools are maintained and optimized for communication and management efficiency.

Support the general management and strategic program development.

Identify and surface research sources to gain consumer insights that will fuel development opportunities.

Monitor competitive landscape, product trends, and market performance

Partner with sourcing and manufacturing to ensure that innovation timelines are accurate and meet commercial needs and maximize opportunities.

Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and insights.

Support all channels with product education, training and support.

Support Cross-channel merchandise planning and analysis

Analyze performance to identify trends and opportunities.

Develop analytical skills with the aim of becoming a competent Power BI user.

Gather and share internal best practices to support continuous improvement efforts.

Assist with excess inventory tracking and planning to support timely stock movement.

Support KPI reporting to improve business understanding and decision-making
- Provide analytical support to ensure initiatives are underpinned by data that helps improve financial performance.
- Standardize tools, templates, and processes across teams
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality and reporting efficiency
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of commercial processes

The Perfect Blend: What We’re Looking For
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business management or related field
- 3-4 years’ experience in an omni-channel consumer good business and/or retail merchandise planning
- Knowledge of product portfolio management
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and creative skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment
- Project management skills
- Ability to travel
- English required, French is a plus
