The Role
Russell-Cooke is looking for an Associate with approximately 2 to 4 years’ PQE to join its Children Law team.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Children lawyer to develop their career within a well-established and highly regarded practice. The successful candidate will manage their own varied caseload, work closely with experienced lawyers in the team and play an active part in developing the practice.
Technical Skills And Expertise
- Strong experience in all areas of children law both public and private.
- Used to managing their own case load as well and assisting on matters with more senior members of the team.
- Experience in international children law and some modern family or an interest to learn these areas would assist.

Person specification
We are looking for someone who works well in an environment which can often change on a daily, if not hourly basis. No day is ever the same. A good team player who is also able to manage and develop their own caseload. Someone who enjoys advocacy and is happy to travel to attend court and meet clients.
The person we are looking for also needs to be happy to assist in the team’s business development and attend events on behalf of the firm.
