Chiropractic Wales is a patient-focused chiropractic clinic based in Swansea, dedicated to helping individuals of all ages live healthier, more comfortable lives through gentle and effective care. Led by experienced chiropractor Amy Carter, the clinic provides a warm, welcoming environment where treatment is tailored to each person’s unique needs and lifestyle. The team focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of issues such as back and neck pain, headaches, postural problems, and sports-related injuries. Services include chiropractic adjustments, postural analysis and advice, lifestyle and movement guidance, and ongoing wellness care. Chiropractic Wales is committed to evidence-based practice and long-term well-being, with new patients welcome and convenient online booking.
Role Description
The Associate Chiropractor is a part-time, on-site role based at the clinic in Swansea. This team member will provide chiropractic assessments and treatments, including spinal and joint adjustments, for a diverse patient base presenting with musculoskeletal conditions and related complaints. The role involves educating patients on posture, movement, lifestyle modifications, and ongoing wellness strategies to support sustainable recovery and improved function. The Associate Chiropractor will collaborate with the lead chiropractor and clinic staff to maintain a safe, supportive environment and deliver consistent, high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical knowledge of the spine and musculoskeletal system, with the ability to assess and treat a range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
- Proficiency in chiropractic techniques and adjustments, with a focus on gentle, evidence-based care.
- Solid grounding in physical medicine relevant to chiropractic practice, including anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Recognised degree in Chiropractic and eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional regulatory body.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach and the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Ability to create clear treatment plans, keep accurate clinical records, and manage time effectively in a busy clinic setting.
- Commitment to continuing professional development and staying current with best practices in chiropractic and musculoskeletal care.
- Experience in private practice or a clinical setting is beneficial; interest in wellness, lifestyle coaching, or sports-related care is an advantage.
