Role Description

The Associate Chiropractor is a part-time, on-site role based in Narberth, Pembrokeshire. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments
  • Reviewing health histories
  • Performing physical examinations focused on the spine and musculoskeletal system
  • Developing individualized treatment plans
  • Delivering chiropractic adjustments and related therapeutic interventions
  • Monitoring patient progress over time
  • Educating patients on preventive care, posture, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health

  • Accurate clinical documentation
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Participating in practice operations such as scheduling support, patient follow-ups, and occasional community outreach

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in spine and musculoskeletal system care, with the ability to assess and diagnose conditions affecting these areas.
  • Proficiency in chiropractic techniques and adjustments, providing safe, precise, and effective hands-on care.
  • Strong foundation in medicine-related knowledge relevant to chiropractic practice, including anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Current Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree and able to practice in the UK with relevant insurance and association membership.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, explain treatment plans clearly, and work with diverse patient populations.
  • Commitment to evidence-informed practice, ongoing professional development, and adherence to ethical and GCC regulatory standards.
  • Ability to manage a consistent patient schedule, maintain thorough documentation, and collaborate effectively within a small clinical team.
  • Previous clinical experience in a chiropractic or musculoskeletal-focused setting is beneficial but not strictly required for highly motivated early-career clinicians.
