Associate Clinical System Designer - Swansea

You will receive training, work alongside experienced professionals, and gain exposure to how clinical trials are managed from a systems and data perspective.

What You Will Do:

As an Associate Clinical Systems Designer at ICON, you will support the setup, testing, and maintenance of the systems used to manage clinical trial data. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will help ensure these systems are configured correctly, perform as expected, and support the successful delivery of clinical studies.

  • Assisting with the design, configuration, and testing of clinical systems used to collect and manage clinical trial data
  • Working with cross-functional teams to understand study requirements and ensure systems are set up to support clinical trial needs
  • Supporting system testing, documentation, and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards
  • Providing support to system users and helping troubleshoot system-related issues
  • Contributing to process improvements and system enhancements that improve efficiency and user experience
  • Supporting the delivery of clinical trial metrics and reports that help teams monitor study progress

You will have/be:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
  • An interest in clinical research, healthcare technology, or data management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams
  • The ability to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with clinical systems, databases, or technology platforms would be beneficial but is not essential
