The Associate Role:
The Associate position is a junior consulting staff position open to Masters students and graduates. This position requires you to be a highly motivated individual with strong problem solving capabilities.
The work of an Associate can be either qualitative or quantitative in nature, and projects range from industry and subject-matter research to data collection to the preparation of statistical, financial, and other forms of analysis. You will be working on live competition matters from day 1 and get exposure to a range of regulatory, litigation and M&A work.
Role Responsibilities:
- Build expertise through training: From the start, you will benefit from a comprehensive onboarding and training program to equip you with the tools needed for a smooth transition into project work.
- Tackle real-world problems: Use theory and industry insights to help solve complex issues faced by our clients.
- Work with data that matters: Analyze real client datasets using advanced tools and statistical techniques to extract meaningful insights.
- Analysis and Design: Construct models based on Economic theory and industry-specific considerations to provide clear answers to complex questions.
- Explore current trends and debates: Conduct research into the latest industry developments and academic literature to support client work and stay ahead of emerging issues.
- Collaborate in a team setting: Work closely with your team to contribute to project success.
- Continued training: As an Associate you will join our global training programme and have the chance to meet colleagues from across the globe. As part of this role BRG will financially contribute to your professional and career development.
- Take part in the office’s daily life: Join team-building events, sports sessions, and other social activities that enrich your experience.

Skills to make you successful in this role:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to solve problems, think through complex issues and to present logical analysis in a clear, concise manner
- Collaborative working skills
- A high level of enthusiasm and proactivity
- Attention to detail
- The ability to produce high-quality work under tight timelines
- A willingness to take ownership of work
- A record of outstanding academic performance and degree in Economics is preferred
Qualifications:
You will be either completing or have completed a Masters in Economics.
