Oxford Space Systems is hiring an Associate Composites Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone who has an interest in working within a manufacturing, assembly environment and wishes to start their career. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and increase their knowledge and experience within composites.
As an Associate Composites Technician, you will be supported by our small dedicated Composites team to take responsibility of our assembly and testing of hardware and supporting process documentation to meet quality standards. You will be shown how to perform manufacturing of composites / fibre-based material components and support day to day Manufacturing Assembly Integration and Test activities to ensure successful delivery of internal and external funded projects.

Requirements
- A strong discipline in following processes, procedures and an interest in engineering and assembly of precision components.
- Knowledge or practical experience of composite manufacturing and assembly procedures is advantageous.
- Knowledge and understanding of detailed engineering drawings, surface finishes, tolerances, materials is desirable.
- Keen to learn, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
- Pragmatic and logical approach to problem solving.
- Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills, task management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to use own initiative.
