Technology Markets - Associate Recruitment Consultant

Brighton | £30,000–£35,000 + uncapped commission

Likely first-year earnings of £45,000, with considerably more available in future years

Good at sales, commercially sharp and ready for a career with serious earning potential?

My client is hiring two ambitious people to join its specialist technology recruitment team. Whether you have gained sales experience in the UK or while travelling overseas, this is an opportunity to turn your commercial ability into a well-paid, long-term career.

No recruitment experience is required.

The role

Your initial focus won’t be cold-calling businesses. You’ll headhunt highly skilled professionals for established technology clients, including:

  • Software developers
  • AI specialists
  • Semiconductor professionals
  • Technology and engineering experts

You’ll identify talented people, introduce them to relevant opportunities and manage the process through to placement.

The company

You’ll join an established technology recruitment business that has:

  • Placed more than 70 professionals into NVIDIA
  • Completed 214 placements with NXP Semiconductors
  • Become Samsung’s number-one global recruitment supplier

That means genuine vacancies, established client relationships and the support to start making placements quickly.

The earning potential

Commission starts at 7% and rises to 17.5%. With an average fee of £15,000, a single placement could earn you between £1,050 and £2,625 in commission, on top of your salary.

Once established, making one or two placements per month can create substantial earnings.

Who they’re looking for

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous sales or commercial experience
  • A strong academic background
  • Confidence and excellent communication skills
  • Resilience, drive and a desire to earn - competitive spirit
  • The intelligence and curiosity to understand technical markets

Experience working or travelling overseas would also be attractive, particularly if it helped you develop independence, confidence and commercial skills.
