Position Overview

Centurion Selection is hiring an Associate Consultant to join our London team, supporting our US construction desk. This is a delivery-focused role, sourcing, screening and qualifying candidates for construction clients across the US market while working alongside experienced consultants who manage client relationships.

The role is designed as a genuine springboard into a full 360 recruitment position. Within six months, the successful candidate will begin taking ownership of their own clients and managing the recruitment cycle from start to finish.

One of the key features of the role is the 11am to 8pm schedule, which aligns with US time zones. For many people, this offers a great balance: a more relaxed start to the day, time for personal commitments in the morning, and a commute outside of peak rush-hour traffic. It's a structure that suits individuals who enjoy a later start and are excited by the opportunity to work closely with the US market.

Responsibilities

  • Source candidates across multiple channels including job boards, LinkedIn and referrals
  • Screen CVs, run preliminary calls and assess candidate skills, experience and motivations against live roles
  • Build and maintain candidate relationships, providing guidance and feedback throughout the process
  • Work alongside Consultants and Account Managers to understand client briefs and shape sourcing strategy
  • Coordinate interviews, manage scheduling across time zones and keep communication moving between candidates and clients
  • Support offer negotiation, ensuring candidate expectations and client requirements line up
  • Keep candidate records and activity accurate and current in the CRM
  • Track market conditions, competitor activity and hiring trends across US construction

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
