HFG Insurance Recruitment is a specialist recruitment consultancy focused exclusively on the insurance market. We work with leading insurers, brokers, and consultancies across the UK, helping them attract top talent while building long-term, trusted partnerships.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Associate Consultant to join our team—ideal for someone with a genuine interest in the insurance industry or an ambition to build a successful career in recruitment.
The Role
As an Associate Consultant, you’ll support experienced consultants while learning the fundamentals of specialist recruitment. This is a hands-on role that offers excellent training, exposure to the insurance market, and a clear progression path into a full 360 consultant position.

Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting consultants with candidate sourcing and screening
- LinkedIn & Job board searching
- Building and maintaining relationships with candidates across the insurance sector
- Conducting candidate screening and managing applications
- Assisting with job advertising and market research
- Learning client management and recruitment processes end-to-end
- Maintaining accurate records within the CRM system
About You
We’re looking for someone who is motivated, curious, and keen to learn. You don’t need previous recruitment experience, attitude and potential matter most.
You’ll ideally have:
- An interest in the insurance industry or a desire to build a career in recruitment
- Graduate degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (confident on the phone)
- A proactive and resilient mindset
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
