Build a Career That Rewards Ambition

At Spencer Ogden, we’re a global specialist recruitment business powering progress across Critical Infrastructure, Natural Resources, Renewables & Sustainability, and Finance.

We’re looking for ambitious, driven people who want more than just a job. Whether you’re coming from B2B/B2C sales, telesales, fundraising, account management or another target-driven environment, we’ll give you the training, tools and platform to build a high-earning career in recruitment.

This Is Recruitment. But It’s Sales.

Forget the idea that recruitment is simply matching CVs to jobs.

As an Associate Recruitment Consultant, you’ll build your own client relationships, win new business, negotiate deals and become a specialist in your market. You’ll speak to senior decision-makers, identify opportunities and build a network of high-value professionals.

It’s fast-paced, competitive and highly rewarding - and your earning potential grows with you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Win new business – Prospect, pitch and develop relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Build your network – Identify, engage and develop relationships with talented professionals in your market.
  • Close deals – Manage the full recruitment process, from initial conversation through to successful placement.
  • Own your desk – Develop your own market, build your reputation and become a specialist in your sector.
  • Hit your goals – Work towards clear individual targets, with uncapped commission rewarding high performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
