About Zemo
Zemo Partnership is an independent public-private partnership that brings together government, industry and experts to accelerate the transition to zero-emission transport in the UK.
Our work spans cars, public transport, commercial vehicles, fuels and energy infrastructure. We develop practical initiatives, conduct research, provide evidence-based advice to policymakers, and establish standards and assurance schemes that support the transition to cleaner transport. We also provide a neutral platform for different sectors to collaborate, share knowledge and develop solutions.
Our aim is to inform policy, stimulate investment and innovation in zero-emission transport, and support the UK in reducing road transport emissions. By bringing together expertise and encouraging collaboration across the sector, we help drive the development and adoption of practical solutions for a cleaner, more sustainable transport system.
Role Description
Help Zemo Partnership tell the story of the UK’s transition to zero-emission transport.
Zemo Partnership is looking for a Communications Associate Consultant to support our communications across media relations, digital channels, publications and stakeholder engagement. This is a unique opportunity to use your communications expertise to influence the debate on how the UK decarbonises road transport, working with government, industry and experts to turn evidence and policy into compelling communications that can influence policy and practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
