Associate Consultant - Communications

Help Zemo Partnership tell the story of the UK’s transition to zero-emission transport.

Zemo Partnership is looking for a Communications Associate Consultant to support our communications across media relations, digital channels, publications and stakeholder engagement. This is a unique opportunity to use your communications expertise to influence the debate on how the UK decarbonises road transport, working with government, industry and experts to turn evidence and policy into compelling communications that can influence policy and practice.

You will help raise Zemo’s profile with members, industry, policymakers and key influencers by turning complex policy and technical developments into compelling communications.

What you’ll do

  • Draft and distribute press releases, respond to media enquiries and pitch stories to relevant journalists and editors.
  • Research and write thought leadership articles, website copy, newsletter content and corporate communications.
  • Create engaging social media content on Zemo news, policy developments and topical issues, and advise on channel strategy.
  • Support communications campaigns that influence media and public debate.
  • Identify and advise colleagues on communications opportunities, risks and priorities.
  • Work with colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure communications are accurate, timely, on brand and aligned with Zemo’s priorities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
