Associate Consultant – Customer Engagement Strategy & Execution (CESE)
We are seeking an Associate Consultant – Customer Engagement Strategy & Execution (CESE) to join our growing Life Sciences and Healthcare Consulting team, based in London (hybrid).
As a Consultant, you will manage and deliver digital healthcare communication and engagement projects for some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality, timely, and impactful project delivery that supports our clients’ commercial and customer engagement objectives.
This role sits within the CESE practice, which helps life sciences organisations transform how they engage with healthcare professionals and patients through data-driven, omnichannel, and digital strategies.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, business, communications, or a related discipline (master’s degree preferred).
- 2 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical, healthcare communications, or life sciences consulting sectors.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and set clear expectations.
- Attention to detail and ability to oversee content accuracy, compliance, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
- It would be great if you also have:
- Understanding of approval processes and compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience coordinating international project delivery or working with external network partners.

What will you be doing in this role?
- Conduct data analysis and synthesis to support project objectives, utilizing established methodologies and advanced analytical tools to generate actionable insights.
- Participate in designing and executing research methodologies to address complex business challenges and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Contribute to the creation of customer presentations and reports by organizing data, visualizing findings, and ensuring the clarity and impact of deliverables.
- Collaborate with consulting teams to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions tailored to customer needs and strategic goals.
- Engage in customer interactions and meetings, with oversight, to understand customer needs, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Support proposal development by contributing to key sections, including market analysis, strategic recommendations, and solution descriptions, to enhance the competitiveness of proposals.
- Collaborate with senior consultants on project execution, coordinating tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality consulting services.

The Customer Engagement Strategy & Execution (CESE) team is an international consulting group focused on helping life sciences clients enhance customer engagement through digital transformation, omnichannel strategy, and execution excellence.
Our work includes:
- Designing and implementing omnichannel engagement strategies for global and regional markets.
- Developing data-driven solutions to improve customer experience and commercial impact.
- Collaborating across Clarivate’s broader consulting practices, including Market Access, HEOR, and Commercial Strategy.
You will join a collaborative and ambitious team that values initiative, curiosity, and excellence in delivery.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time, permanent position based in London, UK, with hybrid working (2–3 days per week in the office).
This position requires weekday (Monday–Friday) attendance with some flexibility around core hours.
