Associate Consultant – Employee Benefits
Salary - up to £55,000 plus bonus & benefits
Location - London
We are working with a well-established, independent wealth management and employee benefits consultancy to recruit an experienced Employee Benefits Consultant for their London-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing and developing client relationships, delivering high-quality employee benefits advice, and contributing to the growth of a successful and ambitious business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and retain an existing portfolio of employee benefits clients.
- Build and develop strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing strategic advice and recommendations in line with client objectives.
- Develop and maintain knowledge across employee benefits, employee wellbeing, and benefits platforms.
- Host and lead client meetings and employee presentations.
- Produce reports, recommendations, and client-facing documentation.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, with responsibility for growing the client portfolio.
- Build and manage third-party and referral relationships.
- Maintain strong relationships with insurers and other providers.
- Represent the business at relevant industry events, including networking, speaking, and delivering content where appropriate.
- Contribute to innovation and the continued development of the employee benefits proposition.
- Support content creation, including articles, presentations, and videos.
- Successfully manage both client and internal projects.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the relevant regulatory framework and ensure appropriate risk management and client outcomes.
- Complete all required compliance and regulatory training.

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience within an employee benefits consultancy or brokerage environment.
- Experience in a client retention, client management, or new business-focused role.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits products and solutions.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and other business software applications.
- Relevant employee benefits qualifications are desirable.
