About Campbell North

Campbell North is a specialist headhunting firm working with some of the world’s leading quantitative trading firms, hedge funds, and technology-led financial businesses. We recruit in highly competitive markets where success comes from understanding people, teams, and businesses in far greater depth than simply matching CVs to job descriptions.

Role Overview

We are looking for ambitious early-career sales professionals, 2-24 months, who want to develop into genuine market specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Learn how to map complex industries
  • Engage highly sought-after candidates
  • Build long-term relationships
  • Advise sophisticated clients

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The role is commercial and phone-led, but it is also research-intensive, strategic, and intellectually demanding.

Qualifications

  • You do not need previous recruitment or financial-markets experience.
  • We are more interested in evidence of curiosity, strong communication, resilience, commercial instinct, and the ability to learn quickly.
  • You may currently be succeeding in B2B sales, events, sponsorship, graduate recruitment, or another target-driven environment, but feel ready for a role with greater depth, autonomy, and earning potential.

Ideal Candidate

The strongest candidates will be degree educated, proactive, comfortable speaking with senior people, able to absorb complex information, and motivated by becoming genuinely knowledgeable in a specialist market. You should enjoy competition and financial reward, while recognizing that long-term success comes from judgment, preparation, and trusted relationships rather than simply making the most calls.
