Job Description
Are you a recent Engineering graduate with a passion for innovation?
Ayming UK is looking for an R&D Tax Associate Consultant to join our thriving team in the heart of London, with a start date planned for early 2027.
With seven years of consistent growth, Ayming is the ideal place to build specialist expertise in R&D tax. As the UK's leading R&D tax consultancy, we regularly win engagements against Big-4 incumbents, and you'll get genuine responsibility from Day One — playing an active role in major client engagements, not just number-crunching.
Join us and be part of a fast-growing team working with big-name clients across key sectors, making a real impact from the start.
Responsibilities:
- Client Facing: Client relationship building throughout the sales and production process. This includes training on correspondence processes for claim-related information.
- Subject Matter Expert: A technical understanding of your specialism with enthusiasm to approach it from a consulting lens.
- Report and Claim Management: Support the team in creating structured claim reports, R&D project descriptions, and claims adjustments.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
