DESCRIPTION
Join our team as a Contracts Specialist I at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll contribute to our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this position, you'll manage contract processes and documentation while collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth commercial operations. You'll handle contract review, negotiation, and administration across various business units, supporting both sales and service agreements. You'll coordinate with Account Managers, Legal teams, and other business partners to facilitate timely contract execution while ensuring compliance with corporate policies. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in reviewing terms and conditions, managing documentation, and maintaining accurate contract records in our systems.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree required, no prior experience required in contract administration or related field
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field
  • Additional professional certifications in contract management are valued
  • Strong understanding of legal, financial, and business risk management in contracts
  • Proficient knowledge of commercial terms including pricing, Incoterms, warranties, and payment terms
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with contract management systems (e.g., Icertis, SharePoint, Ariba)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong integrity and commitment to maintaining confidential information
  • Fluency in English required
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Experience in clinical research, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry preferred
