Job Description

We are seeking a talented associate with expertise in corporate law and transactional experience to help advise our clients on various matters and contribute to our business development efforts.

About the Role

As a key member of our corporate team, you will advise our diverse client base on a variety of corporate finance transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity deals. Your role will be crucial in managing cases from inception to completion, ensuring that all client needs are met with the highest standard of legal service.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert legal advice on a range of corporate finance transactions.
  • Efficiently manage and prioritize caseloads according to client timelines and expectations.
  • Contribute to the firm’s business development activities by participating in seminars, writing articles, and engaging with clients at events.
  • Continuously develop your legal and commercial skills through targeted training and supervision.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Solicitors with solid experience in general corporate law and specific expertise in transactional work.
  • Individuals with excellent legal drafting abilities and a knack for providing clear, concise, and commercially viable solutions.
  • Professionals who are up-to-date with legal developments and eager to take on challenging work in a supportive environment.
  • Team players who are excellent communicators, capable of fostering strong relationships both within the firm and with external clients and partners.

Essential

  • Experience working on non-contentious construction matters.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a practical, common-sense approach to problem solving.
  • The ability to provide clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice to clients.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build trusted client relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to quickly assimilate complex information.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to tight deadlines.
  • A proactive and inquisitive mindset, with a willingness to embrace new challenges and opportunities.
  • An interest in business development and networking, including attendance at client, industry and firm events.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues across the firm.
