Associate – Corporate – Bristol (2–6 PQE)
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £60,000 – £85,000 (depending on experience)
A growing and ambitious law firm is seeking a commercially minded Corporate Associate (2–6 PQE) to join its expanding Corporate team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside market‑leading partners on high‑quality UK and international transactions, gaining exposure to a broad range of complex and strategically important corporate work from day one.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for advising on a varied mix of domestic and cross‑border corporate matters, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Private equity transactions
- Venture capital investments
- Group restructurings and reorganisations
- Corporate governance and general advisory
- Transactions across key sectors including Tech and Health & Social Care
You will work closely with partners and colleagues across multiple offices, collaborating with a wider national corporate team of almost 40 specialists. You’ll benefit from strong partner access, structured development and the opportunity to build long‑term client relationships within a high‑performing and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 2–6 years’ PQE gained within a regional or national corporate team
- Experience supporting on M&A, private equity and venture capital matters
- Strong interest in the Tech sector and willingness to engage in sector‑focused BD
- Strong drafting, analytical and technical skills
- Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem‑solving
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
- A proactive attitude and genuine interest in business development
