This role requires being on-site 3 days per week in our Andover (UK) office.

Main responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to our global user base via remote tools and face-to-face.
  • Proactively be responsible for global IT support in troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
  • Take ownership of the build process of our laptop configuration for your region.
  • Manage any IT peripherals (printers, phones, audio-visual equipment, desktops & Laptops).
  • Participate in small project activities as directed by IT Management.
  • Liaise with external suppliers for hardware purchases and application renewals.
  • Place IT security at the forefront of your mind with the least privileged approach.
  • Operate and maintain business-as-usual IT systems.
  • Become a technical subject matter expert for assigned applications/services, providing improvement opportunities, license management and escalations.
  • Work with the management team to make suggestions to optimise the use of IT Equipment and Applications.
  • Maintain the asset management system to ensure we have 100% accuracy.
  • Operate with one global IT Corporate Standard.

Experience needed for this role

  • Must be enthusiastic about technology, enjoy helping others, and be keen to build a career in IT.
  • Experience in a customer service, helpdesk, service desk, contact centre, or other support-focused environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach to resolving issues.
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • An organised, detail-oriented approach to work.
  • The ability to follow processes and use available resources to find solutions.
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills and technologies.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues across the business.
