This role requires being on-site 3 days per week in our Andover (UK) office.
Main responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support to our global user base via remote tools and face-to-face.
- Proactively be responsible for global IT support in troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
- Take ownership of the build process of our laptop configuration for your region.
- Manage any IT peripherals (printers, phones, audio-visual equipment, desktops & Laptops).
- Participate in small project activities as directed by IT Management.
- Liaise with external suppliers for hardware purchases and application renewals.
- Place IT security at the forefront of your mind with the least privileged approach.
- Operate and maintain business-as-usual IT systems.
- Become a technical subject matter expert for assigned applications/services, providing improvement opportunities, license management and escalations.
- Work with the management team to make suggestions to optimise the use of IT Equipment and Applications.
- Maintain the asset management system to ensure we have 100% accuracy.
- Operate with one global IT Corporate Standard.
Experience needed for this role
- Must be enthusiastic about technology, enjoy helping others, and be keen to build a career in IT.
- Experience in a customer service, helpdesk, service desk, contact centre, or other support-focused environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach to resolving issues.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications.
- An organised, detail-oriented approach to work.
- The ability to follow processes and use available resources to find solutions.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills and technologies.
- A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues across the business.
