Kennedys is currently seeking an experienced Associate to join their Crime & Regulatory team in London or Sheffield. This position presents an exceptional opportunity to work within a nationally recognised practice consistently regarded as one of the leading teams in the country. The team specialises in regulatory matters, with a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental (HSE) investigations and prosecutions, as well as a wide range of related inquests and public inquiries spanning multiple sectors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting high-profile health and safety cases and will be involved in serious public investigations arising from major incidents. This role is well-suited to someone who is eager to develop their expertise in regulatory law and contribute meaningfully to cases that often attract significant public and industry attention.

Clients
The Regulatory team represents a broad portfolio of well-known corporate clients across all major industry sectors. They also work closely with insurers, receiving instructions to support policyholder organisations facing regulatory scrutiny or enforcement action. This diverse client base ensures exposure to a wide variety of matters and industries.

Required Experience
- 2+ years' post-qualification experience in a relevant area
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulatory law
- Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships and direct client contact
