Role Description
The Associate Data Analyst internship role at Hawkroot is a hybrid position based in the City of Bristol, with some work from home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Collecting and cleaning data from various sources
- Performing basic data analysis
- Preparing reports or dashboards to support project decisions
- Assisting in identifying trends and patterns
- Supporting data modeling tasks under guidance from senior analysts
- Documenting methodologies and findings in a clear and structured way
- Collaborating with project teams
- Communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Learning best practices in analytics and data-driven decision-making within short-term client engagements

Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics knowledge to interpret data and generate insights.
- Basic understanding of Statistics and Data Modeling to support quantitative analysis and structured data solutions.
- Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly and collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; exposure to SQL or Python is beneficial).
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in the City of Bristol, manage time effectively, and adapt to a project-based environment.
- Attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and interest in analytics, automation, or software-related projects.
