What This Role Is All About

We are looking for an Associate Data Scientist (AI Engineer) to help develop and deliver AI solutions across the insurance value chain. Working as part of a growing Data Science team, you'll collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to build machine learning models, GenAI applications, AI assistants, and customer-facing tools. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of AI initiatives, develop practical experience in deploying solutions at scale, and contribute to projects that create measurable impact across the business.

Key Actions

  • Contribute to gathering and defining requirements for new AI solutions
  • Design, build, and deploy AI-driven applications across the insurance value chain
  • Develop machine learning and Generative AI models to address business challenges
  • Support the delivery of AI Assistants, RAG solutions, and voice-enabled platforms
  • Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, architects, and business stakeholders
  • Integrate AI applications with enterprise systems and cloud-based technologies
  • Optimise models and applications for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Develop, test, and maintain solutions using Python and modern AI frameworks
  • Research emerging AI technologies and apply relevant innovations to business use cases
  • Work closely with senior data scientists to support project delivery and professional development
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI engineering standards and best practices
  • Support the deployment and monitoring of AI applications on Google Cloud Platform
