Location: London / National
Successful applicants will be expected to be office based 3 days per week in any HMCTS Office (subject to business availability).

Job Description:
As an Associate Delivery Manager, you will be expected to support the Senior Delivery Manager with a strong focus on delivery. You will be accountable for the effective delivery of complex, high-risk products and services. You will have a strong background and experience of working in a project-based environment, across a range of products and services, throughout the entire product life cycle. You will have some responsibility and accountability as a point of escalation. You will also be supporting the Senior Delivery Manager who is accountable for the performance and coaching of agile software development teams. Your CV should demonstrate your ability and experience of creating and coaching self-organising, high performing agile delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting in the leading of Agile ceremonies and or coaching sessions
- Planning and implementing agile ways of working whilst supporting the multi-disciplinary team and suppliers.
- Managing the risks and issues log, including proactively following up on actions which may help mitigate current and future risks or issues.
- Communicating with key stakeholders to support the resolution of blockers and highlight any dependencies, risks & issues to delivery.
- Supporting in the management of the team’s incident dashboard and various incident management MS Teams channels.
- Work with Senior Delivery Manager and Principal delivery Manager to provide delivery updates to key stakeholders and or the delivery team.
- Supporting in the management of delivery products and services at different phases to understand how the needs of the team and the product vary across the stages of the product lifecycle
- Maintaining the monthly ROI database for all automation streams based off cost savings vs costs analysis.
- Responsible for identifying and comparing the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes
- The post holder is required to work in a flexible way and undertake any other duties reasonably requested by line management which are commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post.

Skills & Experience:
- People management skills to successfully lead your teams, with the coaching aptitude to support and empower your people. Allowing people to develop the skills, confidence and experience to independently deal with business and people related issues.
- Management skills; ability to plan, set realistic performance measures, delegate and review progress to improve performance and manage risks.
- Able to build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels. To influence and negotiate to resolve competing priorities and issues.
- Ability to work to tight timescales, managing your priorities and ensuring timely delivery of quality products.
- Effective communication skills including delivering and leading on key messages, ensuring that they are understood and implemented consistently.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends and workflow requirements to make informed decisions that contribute to local and national priorities and improving service delivery.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience of using IT applications and an interest in technology as a way of resolving business problems or meeting business needs.
- Have had experience in applying Agile principles in practice, can identify and compare the best framework or delivery methods to use.
- Can facilitate difficult discussions within the team or with diverse senior stakeholders.
