We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Delivery Manager, within Chief Operating Office, UK Change Execution.
The Associate Delivery Manager sits within the Core Banking value stream in UK Change Execution. Working alongside Delivery Leads and Delivery Managers, you will support the initiation, design and delivery of business and technology change.
In this role you'll:
- Support Delivery Leads and Delivery Managers across the initiative lifecycle, helping to deliver change safely and successfully.
- Create and maintain achievable delivery plans, balancing scope, schedule, resources, interdependencies, budget and risk.
- Coordinate change and implementation activity, manage blockers and help keep delivery on track against agreed deadlines.
- Build effective relationships with Business, Technology, Digital and other partners to support delivery of agreed outcomes.
- Understand business needs and help translate complex requirements into deliverable epics, user stories and backlogs where appropriate.
- Identify delivery risks and challenges, support appropriate approvals and controls, and escalate issues in a timely way.
- Adapt to changing priorities and ambiguity, applying critical thinking and practical problem-solving to reach the right outcome.
- Capture and share lessons learned, helping improve change delivery practices across UK Bank.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Some experience of supporting delivery, projects, change activity or comparable work in another business area. Transferable experience is welcomed.
- Demonstrable ability to work to deadlines, manage competing priorities and remain flexible as requirements change.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with confidence working across different teams and functions.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capability, with a pragmatic and practical approach.
- Ability to plan activities, identify risks and support appropriate mitigation and escalation.
- An understanding of change delivery approaches or methodologies, including Agile, would be advantageous.
- An understanding of retail financial services would be beneficial but is not essential.
