Role Description
The Associate Dentist will provide a full range of general dental services, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, and preventive care. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Delivering high-quality clinical treatment
- Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records
- Communicating clearly with patients about treatment options, costs, and outcomes
The role involves collaborating with dental nurses, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. The Associate Dentist will:
- Follow clinical governance and infection control protocols
- Participate in practice meetings
- Contribute to continuous service improvement
This is a full-time, on-site role based at One Dental Care in Beith.
Qualifications
- A recognized dental degree and full registration (or eligibility for registration) with the relevant dental regulatory body.
- Demonstrated competence in general dentistry, including diagnostics, restorative treatments, preventive care, and basic emergency management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with patients and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to high clinical standards, ethical practice, and adherence to infection prevention and safety protocols.
- Willingness to engage in continuing professional development and stay updated on current best practices in dentistry.
- Organizational skills to manage clinical time, documentation, and patient caseload efficiently.
