Associate Dentist Crossford

We are looking for an experienced Associate Dentist to join an established dental practice based in Crossford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist looking to join a supportive and professional clinical environment, with the opportunity to provide high-quality care to an established patient base.

The role would suit a clinician who enjoys general dentistry, takes pride in patient care and wants to develop their skills within a collaborative practice.

The Role

As an Associate Dentist, you will provide a broad range of general dental treatments while working closely with the wider clinical and support team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out comprehensive dental examinations and assessments
  • Diagnosing oral health conditions and developing appropriate treatment plans
  • Providing general, preventative and restorative dental treatment
  • Discussing treatment options and costs clearly with patients
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records
  • Monitoring patients' ongoing oral health and providing preventative advice
  • Referring patients to appropriate specialists where necessary
  • Working collaboratively with dental nurses, hygienists, therapists and other clinicians
  • Maintaining high standards of clinical governance and infection control
  • Ensuring treatment is delivered in line with current professional standards
  • Managing appointments and clinical workload effectively
  • Supporting patient retention and building long-term patient relationships
  • Participating in relevant training and continuing professional development
  • Providing a consistently high standard of patient care and service

About You

We're looking for a confident and patient-focused Associate Dentist who is committed to delivering high-quality clinical care.

You should have:

  • Current GDC registration and the appropriate UK right to practise
  • Previous experience working as a dentist in the UK
  • Strong general dentistry experience
  • Good clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A professional, approachable and compassionate manner
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent record-keeping and attention to detail
  • Commitment to continuing professional development
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and patient-centred dentist who enjoys providing high-quality general dentistry and building lasting relationships with patients.

You'll be confident managing a varied clinical workload while working collaboratively with the wider practice team and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
